Delete your account
Permanently delete your account in the GutBloom app (developer: Ben Vollrath) and everything stored with it, without needing the app installed. Deletion takes effect immediately and can’t be undone.
How to delete your account
- Sign in below with the same method you use in the app.
- Check that the account shown is the one you want to delete.
- Confirm, then select Delete my account.
You can also delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete account and data. If you’d like a copy of your data, export it from the app’s Settings before you delete.

Your account has been deleted
Your account and all of its data have been removed from our servers. If GutBloom is still installed on a phone, uninstall it to remove the entries saved on that phone.
What is deleted
- Every meal, check-in, bowel and context entry, including meal photos
- Patterns and their history
- Your consent decisions and app preferences
- Your account and sign-in
What is kept
- Nothing linked to your account stays in the GutBloom database. Our hosting provider’s encrypted backups roll over on their own schedule, so a deleted account disappears from them within 30 days.
- Entries saved on a phone stay there until you uninstall the app or delete your account in the app.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a GutBloom+ subscription. Cancel it in Google Play first. Google keeps its own purchase records under its privacy policy.
Guest accounts and other help
If you use GutBloom without signing in, your guest account can only be deleted in the app, because there is no sign-in we could use to confirm it’s yours. If you can’t sign in or deletion keeps failing, email support@gutbloom.de from the address on your account.
