This notice explains how the GutBloom website and waitlist use information. It covers this marketing website only; the GutBloom mobile app will have a separate, product-specific privacy notice before launch.

Who is responsible

Waitlist information

When you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit so we can provide early-access and product-research updates.

We do not send your email address to our analytics provider. Waitlist records are stored with Supabase and are not available directly to anonymous website visitors. You can ask us to remove your waitlist record at any time.

Website analytics

We use PostHog Cloud EU only to count homepage loads and confirmed new waitlist signups. A homepage load sends a credential-free request to GutBloom's own measurement endpoint. The endpoint creates a fresh random event identifier and forwards the count to PostHog; that identifier is never stored in your browser or reused.

We do not use analytics cookies or browser storage, identify visitors, link activity across pages or visits, create person profiles, or send page paths, referrers, campaign tags, device details, engagement activity, performance measurements, or email addresses to PostHog. The resulting counts cannot show unique or returning visitors.

Processors and international access

  • Supabase provides the waitlist database and submission function.
  • Vercel hosts and delivers the website.
  • PostHog Cloud EU processes the deliberately limited website analytics described above.

These providers may use subprocessors. We review processor terms and configure regional storage and data minimization where available.

Retention and security

We keep information only while it supports the stated purpose, legal obligations, or a privacy request. Waitlist data is deleted when it is no longer needed for beta access and launch communications. Analytics retention is controlled in the PostHog EU project. We use encrypted transport, managed access controls, and restricted database permissions, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to processing. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Send requests to support@gutbloom.de. We may need enough information to verify and complete the request without disclosing data to the wrong person.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when the website's processing materially changes and will revise the date above.
